Build your cast and your world as living reference, right beside your prose. Give each character a structured profile — traits, stats, arc notes — and link people, places, and factions with typed relationships you and your AI collaborator can actually follow: who is allied with whom, who reports to whom, what happened where. Tag any element with the themes and motifs that cut across your chapters, then filter your outline down to just what you are looking for. Your cast remembers what it lived through — not what you know. Each character, place, and object carries its own private memory, built from what it actually witnessed rather than from the notes you keep about it. So one character can believe something another knows to be false and carry that belief across a whole book — dramatic irony your story keeps track of instead of you. When an edit diverges from what a character remembers, Sagaly asks you about it rather than quietly rewriting their past.
